500ml water
3 black tea bags
2 cinnamon sticks
1 whole nutmeg
3 cardamom pods
10 cloves
10 peppercorn
2 cm ginger root, grated
1 tbsp coconut sugar
500ml unsweetened almond milk
Put the water, tea, all the spices, and grated ginger in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then turn the heat down and cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Divide the coconut sugar into two cups, then strain the tea out evenly into the cups. Either heat up or froth the almond milk and pour on top.
