Tropical Ginger Zinger

This is a fabulous juice, which really does give you a zing! Pineapple contains the enzyme Bromelain, which is anti-inflammatory as well as containing high amounts of thiamine (B vitamin), vitamin C and manganese, which are important for antioxidant defenses. The ginger gives it that fabulous kick and strengthens immunity as well as being soothing for digestion. Ginger is also an effective remedy for nausea and is used for cold and flu prevention.
Serves 1
  • Half fresh pineapple, roughly chopped.
  • Thumb-sized piece fresh ginger.
  • Lemon juice, to taste.
  1. Peel the pineapple and ginger and put through a juicer with the lemon juice.
  2. Pour into a glass with some ice and drink at once.
