Gorgeously Green Smoothie

For a magical energy booster before the joys of trick or treating at Halloween, try a dose of our witches brew. This smoothie is full of immune boosting fruits and iron and the almond milk is great for maintaining a healthy heart and strong muscles and bones. Pure magic in a glass!
Ingredients
Serves 1
- 1 eating apple, cored and sliced
- 1 kiwi, peeled and cubed
- 1 handful of spinach leaves, washed
- 2 sticks celery, roughly chopped
- ½ cucumber (skin on), roughly chopped
- Juice of half a lemon
- Thumb-sized piece fresh ginger, finely chopped
- 250ml homemade almond milk (please see separate recipe *link *)
Instructions
- Prepare all the fruit and vegetables, and place in your liquidizer with the almond milk.
- Whizz to blend to a smooth consistency.
- Drink immediately, adding more almond milk if you prefer a thinner brew!
