Where did the summer go? It’s suddenly back to school and the start of a new academic year with children going back to classrooms in their shiny shoes and itchy jumpers. Mums breathe a sigh of relief that they have survived the summer holidays and managed to label everything in sight.
Most households however are flung into total chaos on school mornings trying to get the children up, get them breakfast whilst finding socks and library books and organising packed lunches. So the one thing we can do is prepare in advance for healthy eating. Time and again I hear mums say to get as much done the night before and that includes preparing packed lunches. Starting tomorrow and for each Friday in September we will be posting nutritious lunchbox recipes for you to prepare over the weekend for the week ahead.
